Terms of Reference for Graphic Designer
Background
Red Cross is in need of a graphic designer based in Athens or Thessaloniki for the design of a range of posters, flyers and other communications pieces to support field activities connected to its programs to support refugee and migrant population in Greece.
Objectives
The graphic designer will work in close collaboration with the relevant Red Cross staff on a range of upcoming projects as needed. This includes:
1. Design new original poster templates
2. Adapt existing posters for different locations
3. Provide updates and changes to posters and materials as needed.
4. Work alongside translators to add the translated texts into the templates.
Skills Needed
- To be able to follow a design brief under direct guidance from relevant Red Cross staff.
- Able to contribute to design ideas and offer innovative communications solutions
- Excellent knowledge of Illustrator / Photoshop and other design programs
